WHO WE ARE

SARAH E. MOTTA, LCSW (FOUNDER/CLINICIAN)

Sarah (she/her) is a graduate of Fordham University's Graduate School of Social Service. She began her career at a non-profit agency where she worked with an array of clients, including foster families, young adults, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and adults with judicial/legal involvement. She has also worked with children, adolescents and adults who require inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations. Sarah utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy to treat clients who have anxiety, depression and trauma.

LAUREN “LAUR” CERIELLO, LCSW

Laur (she/her) is a graduate of Simmons University’s Master of Social Work program. She has experience in inpatient psychiatry, emergency room, and group therapy settings. Laur’s approach is collaborative, supportive, and centered on creating meaningful, lasting change. She enjoys working one-on-one with clients to develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect your unique needs and strengths. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel empowered to explore, heal, and grow.

AMANDA FUREGNO, LPC

Amanda (she/her) is a graduate of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed further graduate courses in drug and alcohol counseling. She has experience in outpatient treatment settings, providing services to individuals with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring concerns, including those with legal involvement. Amanda's clinical background includes individual and group therapy for adults. Amanda strives to create a warm, welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment to support clients in achieving their goals. 

ALICIA ANDRIOPOULOS, LMSW

Alicia (she/her) is a graduate of Fordham University's Graduate School of Social Service. She began her career working in child welfare and is well-versed in trauma, child abuse and neglect, poverty, mental health and substance abuse/addiction. Alicia utilizes a holistic and humanistic approach to support individuals on their path to healing and assists them in creating positive changes in their lives. She is also a certified Reiki II practitioner.

MIRALYS GARCIA, LMSW

 Miralys (she/her/ella) is a graduate of Sacred Heart University’s Graduate School of Social Work. She began her career as a school social worker, serving an array of clients, including children, teenagers, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her experience spans multiple environments, such as group homes, behavioral health clinics, and educational programs. Miralys is a compassionate and dedicated social worker, deeply committed to creating positive change in the lives of individuals. She takes a client-centered approach, skillfully providing both individual and group counseling using evidence-based interventions tailored to the unique needs of children, adolescents, and young adults. Additionally, she is a certified practitioner of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). 


 Miralys es egresada de la Escuela de Graduados de Trabajo Social de la Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. Inició su carrera como trabajadora social escolar, brindando apoyo a una variedad de clientes, incluyendo niños, adolescentes y personas con discapacidades intelectuales y del desarrollo. Su experiencia abarca diferentes entornos, tales como hogares grupales, clínicas de salud conductual y programas educativos. Miralys es una trabajadora social compasiva y comprometida, con una profunda dedicación a fomentar el cambio positivo en la vida de las personas. Utiliza un enfoque centrado en el cliente, ofreciendo eficazmente asesoramiento tanto individual como grupal mediante intervenciones basadas en evidencia, adaptadas a las necesidades particulares de niños, adolescentes y adultos jóvenes. Además, es practicante certificada en Terapia Cognitivo-Conductual Centrada en el Trauma (TF-CBT). 

KARLA CASTILLO, LPC-A

  Karla (she/her/ella) is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport, where she earned a Master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in Mental Health. She has professional experience in both inpatient and outpatient treatment settings, providing services for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Her clinical background includes individual and group therapy, as well as experience working with adults and adolescents. Karla’s approach to treatment integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and evidence-based interventions. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, offering clinical services to diverse populations through individual, couples, and family therapy.  Karla is committed to delivering culturally responsive and client-centered care, fostering an environment that supports recovery, growth, and resilience.


 

Karla es egresada de la Universidad de Bridgeport, donde obtuvo una Maestría en Consejería con concentración en Salud Mental. Cuenta con experiencia profesional en programas de tratamiento tanto de hospitalización como ambulatorios, brindando servicios a personas con trastornos por uso de sustancias y condiciones de salud mental coexistentes. Su trayectoria clínica incluye terapia individual y grupal, así como experiencia trabajando con adultos y adolescentes. El enfoque terapéutico de Karla integra la Terapia Cognitivo-Conductual (TCC), la psicoterapia, la Entrevista Motivacional (EM) y otras intervenciones basadas en evidencia. Es bilingüe en inglés y español, y ofrece servicios clínicos a poblaciones diversas a través de terapia individual, de pareja y familiar. Karla está comprometida en ofrecer una atención culturalmente sensible y centrada en el cliente, fomentando un ambiente que apoye la recuperación, el crecimiento y la resiliencia.

KACI MOLLICA, LCSW

Kaci (she/her) is a graduate of the University of Saint Joseph. She is the practice's Clinical Supervisor. Kaci worked in the special education field for over seven years prior to joining the social work field. She has since transitioned to providing supervisory support to clinicians who are in the process of becoming fully licensed by the State of Connecticut's Department of Public Health. Kaci's vast work experience has given her the knowledge base she needs in her new role. She is also an Adjunct Professor at her alma mater where she is working to shape the minds of future social work professionals!
